In September 2014 I was commissioned by JP/Politikens Publishing House in Copenhagen, Denmark to photograph for their New York City travel guidebook. It had been about 28 years since I myself had arrived in NYC for the first time with an old edition of the very same guidebook in my hand. I stayed 20 years, returning to Denmark in 2003. The fate of the future reader, many editions later, remains to be seen.
